They're soft, chewy pieces of fruit-flavoured taffy! The little squares are a great way to give yourself a small burst of fruity flavour that lasts for a long time. As soon as the Now and Later candy bar was released by the Phoenix Candy Company in 1962, kids went wild. It came in as many as fourteen flavours, and each Now and Later bar consisted of a few individually wrapped squares of taffy. By choosing the name for the bar, the owner is suggesting to customers that they eat some of the taffy squares in the bar right away, but save the rest for later. These tiny squares are now available in over 19 different flavours, and there is a variety for everyone here at American Food Mart.
