Big Red came about 1937 by Grover C. Thomsen and R.H. Roark in Waco, Texas and originally known as Sun Tang Red Cream Soda. The taste of the soft drink was so pleasing to Americans that it was ranked sixth place as the most popular drink in 2002-2004.
