JujyFruits

Jujyfruits was introduced in 1920. A box of Jujyfruits contains an assortment of fruit-shaped candies. Originally manufactured by Henry Heide’s Company, founded in 1869.

Shapes include asparagus bundles, bananas, grape bundles, pea pods, pineapples, raspberries, and tomatoes. “HEIDE” is stamped on the banana shape. The colours of fruit flavours correspond to their shapes, as in raspberry (red), anise/liquorice (black), lime (green), orange (orange), and lemon (yellow). When cooled or aged, the candies become hard.
