Karo

Karo is a brand of syrup, created by the Corn Products Refining Company. Based in New York and Chicago, the company was formed in 1902 and Karo was one of their first brands!

They were the first company to introduce packaged syrups. As a matter of fact, before the brand was introduced people would have to take jugs to the grocery store to be refilled!

They became instantly popular and were one of America’s top syrup brands! In fact, not only did they make syrups, but they even had cookbooks out with recipes on how to use their syrups too!

Fast forward to today, and they’re still loved by all. They make a variety of different products, including both light and dark corn syrup. Not to mention they even make pancake syrup now!
