There is only one Nissin Foods. Its founder, faced with a Japanese food shortage after WWII, invented instant ramen and sparked a 3-minute global revolution. The company’s spirit of innovation continues to provide simple, nourishing delight to billions of people around the world.

In 1966, Mr Ando observed Americans eating out of cups while in the U.S. This observation led to the global phenomenon of Cup Noodles. The first Nissin Foods facility in the U.S. opened in Gardena, California, in 1972. Nissin Foods USA began producing Top Ramen and has launched a stream of new and exciting products for hungry, noodle-loving Americans ever since.
